From the Desk of Lemming Boy

So, when I migrated to the new hosting service, for some reason my written-from-scratch-with-Notepad site did not really make the journey intact.  All the code is there, but since I went from a Windows server to Unix, I had to hastily re-write everything as .shtml (it was .asp).  Needless to say, my coding skilz are a touch lacking, and not everything was working right.

While there really wasn’t that much that I couldn’t start over from scratch, I decided to give this WordPress thingy a try instead.  As I’ve been getting more and more used to the way things work in here, I’m fairly confident that this is the way to go.

The big thing I wanted to preserve from the old site was a journal of my honeymoon from 2005.  Well, let’s clarify– the wife got real sad and quiet when I mentioned the honeymoon journal didn’t work anymore.  The Grand Poo-Bah shall not stand for a sad wife, so it’s going back up, in New & Improved format, no less! (I don’t know when it is that I’ll actually get to that, but it’s coming, I promise!)
